Tourism businesses in Wales urged to accept Euros

There’s never been a better time for Europeans in the Eurozone to visit Wales in terms of value for money and this is great opportunity for Wales to boost its tourism takings.

Hospitality providers need only calculate their rates in Euros and be ready to take Euro payments by credit/debit card, Euro cash or Euro travellers cheques.

For the latter, businesses need only to set up a separate Euro account at their bank, transfer any balance from time to time into their regular Sterling account or keep the Euros for when visits are made to Eurozone countries.
